Q & A

What are your hours?

Denise works by appointment.  The studio is not open specific hours, but is typically closed Mondays and Tuesdays (if needed these days, contact Denise).

Do you airbrush? What makes airbrush different from traditional makeup?

Yes!! Denise is a certified Dinair airbrush makeup artist. The airbrush foundation used is a water base liquid foundation that gets  applied through an air gun and compressor.  It’s sprayed on the skin in a fine mist as tiny dots that blend together to make a flawless, lightweight finish.  The staying power is awesome!

How long is a makeup appointment?

A typical makeup appointment takes abut 45 minutes.  If false lashes are added on, an extra 5-10 minutes may be needed.

How far in advance should I book my prom makeup?

Most of Denise’s clients book as soon as they get their school year calendar in August.  A non refundable deposit is due at booking to guarantee your spot is held.

I’m interested in booking you for my wedding, how do I go about doing so?

All we need is the non-refundable deposit and a signed contract to secure your date…It’s that easy! No date will be held until both are received.

How far in advance should I book you?

The sooner the better!  It’s best to book as soon as you are ready to make sure you get your date for your big day!  Typically 6 months to a year is ideal, but booking 1+ years is not out of the norm!

Do you do trials? If so, how far out should I schedule?

Yes!  Trials are a great way to work out all the kinks before the big day.  Even though trials aren’t required, they are definitely recommended.  This helps Denise identify your skin and what works best to achieve the perfection on your special day!

It’s best to try to have your trial during the same time of year you’ll be getting married, this way your skin tone will be similar and closest to your booked date.   This is also a good time to take advantage of having any professional photos done.
